The agency maintains and operates the Emergency Operations Center where local government officials, heads of emergency response and support departments and non-government organizations would meet and conduct response and recovery operations in the event a major emergency or disaster should strike our community. Coordination of all State and Federal agencies that could be called upon for assistance in response and recovery operations is the responsibility of the Emergency Management Agency.
